Vruchiy

Vruchiy — a flax variety developed by hybridization followed by individual-family selection, intended for fiber, oil, and meal production. This mid-season variety has a vegetation period of 75–80 days and plant height up to 90–100 cm. Flowers have a blue tint, and the stamens are bluish, giving the plant its distinctive appearance. The inflorescence is compact, and the 1000-seed mass is about 5.0 g.

The variety is characterized by high yield: seed yield reaches 18.0–30.0 c/ha, and fiber yield is approximately 1.0 t/ha with 30% fiber content. The oil content in seeds is 47.0–48.0%, making it valuable for producing food and technical oils. Additionally, meal is obtained from seeds for animal feed. Vruchiy is resistant to lodging, diseases, pod cracking, and seed shattering, ensuring stable yields.

The variety belongs to the intensive type and has moderate resistance to pests and diseases. It is suitable for cultivation in all regions, including flax-growing areas of Ukraine. Due to its characteristics and versatile use, Vruchiy is a reliable choice for agricultural producers oriented toward comprehensive flax utilization.
