Alfalfa Narachena Pivnochi

Stable Yields: Working with «Narechena Pivnochi» Alfalfa

Developed by the NSC «Institute of Agriculture of NAAS», the «Narechena Pivnochi» variety is a prime example of Ukrainian breeding designed for consistent performance in local field conditions.

Operational and Agronomic Insights

With plant heights ranging from 70 to 95 cm, this variety offers excellent machinability. For operators, this means standardized harvesting parameters and minimal header clogging, even during dense regrowth periods.

• Harvest Efficiency: The structure of the plants allows for even drying of windrows. This minimizes the waiting time between mowing and baling, ensuring higher quality hay with fewer weather risks.
• Maintenance and Regrowth: One of the standout features is the rapid recovery rate after cutting. The crop responds predictably to standard maintenance, allowing for a tight harvesting schedule throughout the season.
• Stand Longevity: This significantly reduces operational costs, as there is no need for premature field renovation or patch-seeding.

For a farm operator, this variety is highly comfortable due to its predictability. It does not require specialized modifications to your machinery or non-standard agrotechnical approaches. It is a reliable asset that simplifies forage management and consistently delivers the expected volume of green mass per hectare.
