Salat "Healthy Freshness" is a new semi-head variety with a period from germination to harvest of 45-50 days. Leaf rosettes are semi-upright, forming a loose head with a diameter of 23-32 cm and a weight of 190-220 g. The leaves are large, blistered, tender, and of a crunchy type, ensuring excellent taste qualities without bitterness. Thanks to these properties, the salad is ideal for preparing salads, sandwiches, and serving various dishes.
The variety differs in its resistance to bolting, which allows obtaining a stable harvest with high productivity — 2.5-3.0 kg per square meter. Cut plants maintain freshness when stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, which is convenient for long-term use. For sowing, seeds are sown into open ground at a depth of 1-1.5 cm, and seedlings are thinned in the phase of two to three true leaves.
To obtain greens throughout the season, it is recommended to sow seeds several times with an interval of 10-15 days. Plants require timely watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing, which contributes to their full development and high quality of the harvest.
