GRENADE

Grenade is a mid-late leaf lettuce variety, distinguished by its attractive dark red coloration with a rich anthocyanic hue. The semi-erect rosette reaches a height of about 24-25 cm and a diameter of up to 30 cm. The leaves are of medium size, round-flat, with a lobed shape, bubbly surface, and wavy edges, giving the lettuce an original and decorative appearance. The leaf consistency is oily, which ensures a pleasant taste and good texture when consumed.

The Grenade variety was developed by French breeders and is characterized by a medium-maturity ripening period — from germination to harvest it takes approximately 35-45 days. The mass of one plant is about 340 grams, and the yield with proper care reaches 3.5-3.9 kg per square meter. Thanks to its low caloric content and the presence of valuable vitamins and minerals, this lettuce is healthy and widely used in fresh form.

Grenade is excellent for making fresh salads, sandwiches, and garnishing various dishes. Its bright color and pleasant taste make it a popular choice both for home growing and culinary use. The variety is recommended for growing in private household plots, allowing for a stable and quality harvest.
