Grace

Grace lettuce is a mid-season variety intended for growing during the summer-autumn period in both open ground and film greenhouses. It forms a compact rosette with a head weight ranging from 185 to 350 grams, depending on growing conditions. The lettuce leaves are dense, ruffled, with wavy or cut edges, differing in crunchy and semi-crunchy texture, as well as a bright coloring — from bright green to dark red and burgundy. Due to high resistance to bolting and tolerance to marginal burning, the variety demonstrates excellent frost hardiness and stable product quality in industrial cultivation.

This lettuce is valued not only for its taste qualities — the leaves are sweet, crunchy, and retain freshness for a long time, making them ideal for fresh consumption, making salads, sandwiches, and garnishing dishes. Moreover, Grace is a rich source of vitamins and possesses useful dietary properties. Regular consumption of this lettuce contributes to strengthening the walls of blood vessels, reducing blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and also helps prevent obesity and hypertension. It is also beneficial for diseases of the central nervous system and cardiovascular diseases.

For sowing, Grace lettuce seeds are recommended to be sown at a depth of 2-3 cm, maintaining a distance between plants of 8-12 cm after thinning. Sowing can be done in winter so that the seeds do not germinate, as well as early spring in several terms with an interval of 10-15 days or at the end of summer. Intercrow rows need to be regularly loosened to ensure optimal growth conditions. Due to its plasticity and adaptability, the variety is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions and cycles, making it in demand in both private farms and industrial agriculture.
