The ES METEORIT corn hybrid is a high-yield, medium-early variety with FAO 290, intended for grain production. It belongs to the silica-toothed kernel type and is ideally suited for planting at temperatures of +10°C and above. Due to its rapid water release, the hybrid reduces drying costs, making it economically advantageous under intensive and medium-intensive cultivation technologies. The plant's root system enables efficient utilization of nutrients and moisture from deep soil layers, reducing the need for additional fertilizers and enhancing drought resistance. ES METEORIT exhibits high lodging resistance and tolerance to common corn diseases, ensuring stable yields across various climatic zones, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Northern Steppe regions of Ukraine. The hybrid is adapted to extensive conditions and performs well on sandy soils. Recommended planting density depends on moisture levels: 75–80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 65–70 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture. During the 3–5 leaf stage, microfertilizers such as the domestic brand 'Yarilo 'Corn' or equivalents are recommended. During this same period, post-emergence herbicides containingnicosulfuron, 2,4-D, florasulam, and rimsulfuron, as well as insecticides based on imidacloprid and lambda-cyhalothrin, may be applied to protect against pests. Following agronomic recommendations allows full realization of the hybrid's potential and ensures high-quality yields.
