Podil's'kyi 274 SV

Podil's'kyi 274 SV — medium-maturing corn hybrid with FAO maturity group 270, characterized by high and stable grain yield, potentially reaching 125-130 c/ha. Plants reach a height of 240-250 cm, do not bush, have cylindrical ears 22-23 cm long with 14-16 rows of kernels, each row containing 37-39 kernels. Ear attachment height is 100-105 cm, kernels are dent-shaped, yellow in color, with 1000-kernel weight of 290-300 g. Ear husk has a reddish tint.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, ensuring reliable harvest, as well as high resistance to major diseases. Podil's'kyi 274 SV is well-adapted to various soil-climatic conditions and is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe regions.
