MARIA is a hemp variety offered in several variants for different purposes. On one hand, there is a 100% hemp textile material produced by the Polish company Swiat Lnu. The fabric has a natural color, a width of 152 cm, a density of 155 g/m², and contains 20-22 threads per centimeter, ensuring the strength and durability of the material. Such textile is used to produce hemp fiber products, which are eco-friendly and highly durable.
On the other hand, MARIA is also a hybrid hemp variety known as Auto Maria Feminised, which is an auto-flowering plant with unique genetics. It is created based on the popular Santa Maria variety crossed with a pure ruderalis, which allowed to preserve all the positive qualities of the original and improve adaptability to various growing conditions. This variety is characterized by rapid maturation, high yield, and resistance to pests, diseases, and temperature fluctuations. The plants are compact, with large inflorescences covered with aromatic resin, and their aroma combines peppermint, fruity notes, and cloves. The cannabis taste is bright and memorable, and the effect after consumption causes vitality, improved mood, and euphoria. Medical applications of the variety include pain relief, appetite stimulation, and soothing effects.
Additionally, the MARIA variety belongs to the species Cannabis sativa L. ssp. sativa and is used for obtaining fiber and seeds. The plants reach a height of 200–250 cm, have a medium stem, and the vegetative period until full seed maturity is about 121 days. The THC content in this variety is minimal — 0.02–0.03%, which makes it suitable for industrial use. Stem yield reaches 110.6 centners per hectare, and seeds — 13.5 centners per hectare. The high fat content in seeds (31.8%) is also an important characteristic for their further application.
