Turnip rape IMPULSE is a variety recognized by the state register and intended both for seed production and for growing green mass as a cover crop. The seeds contain 39.7% fat, the mass of 1000 seeds is 4.1 g, and the plants reach a height of 93 cm. Resistance to lodging is rated at 5 points, and resistance to shattering and drought at 4 points, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. Seed yield ranges from 8.0 to 14.4 ц/га, and green mass yield ranges from 83 to 165 ц/га.
Turnip rape leaves possess an attractive sharp pattern and are rich in vitamins A and C, as well as potassium. They can be used in fresh form for salads and soups, as well as as a natural fertilizer when sowing vegetable crops. Planting is done in open ground with an interval of 10 cm; after seedlings appear (7–14 days), plants should be regularly watered and weeded. For continuous harvest collection, it is recommended to sow every 2–3 weeks, and when the height reaches 2–4 cm, thin out to 15 cm.
Turnip rape IMPULSE is also valued for its content of mustard oil glycosides and minerals, making it useful in cooking and for maintaining immunity. As a cover crop, it improves soil structure, increasing its fertility, and when sown densely in early spring, it can quickly restore green mass after vegetable harvest. Due to these properties, turnip rape IMPULSE is a universal and effective plant both for agriculture and for a home garden.
