TULEEVSKY

The Tuleevsky potato variety is a medium-early table variety, maturing 80-110 days after emergence of seedlings. The plant is of medium height with semi-upright bushes and dark green medium-sized leaves. Flowers are large and white. Tubers have an elongated shape with very small, superficial eyes, yellow and slightly rough skin, and dense, yellowish flesh that does not darken but brightens upon heat treatment. Average weight of one tuber ranges from 122 to 270 grams, and under favorable conditions may reach 500-600 grams.

The variety is characterized by high yield, which in industrial scale ranges from 180 to 424 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the performance of standard varieties. Tubers have high marketability — from 88 to 99%, and storability reaches 90%. The taste of the potato is rated as good to excellent, and the flesh has moderate softening, making this variety universal for various culinary purposes.

Tuleevsky potato is resistant to potato cancer pathogen and viral diseases, but susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode. According to phytopathology data, the variety shows moderate resistance to late blight on foliage and moderate susceptibility on tubers. Recommended for cultivation in various regions, including West Siberian, East Siberian, Volgo-Vyat, and Far Eastern, indicating its adaptability and reliability in different climatic conditions.
