Miroslava

The Miroslava potato variety is a mid-early, high-yielding variety that has gained widespread recognition due to its excellent taste and high productivity. The yield of this variety reaches 500 to 600 centners per hectare, making it profitable for cultivation both in private farms and large agribusinesses. The plants are well-adapted to drought conditions, allowing successful cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, especially in southern regions of Ukraine.

The Miroslava potato tubers have a round-oval shape, with individual tuber weight ranging from 80 to 140 grams. The tuber skin is pink or yellow, and the flesh is light-yellow or white-cream. The eyes are small and superficial, facilitating cleaning. The starch content in the tubers ranges from 13 to 18%, making this variety versatile for various cooking methods: frying, boiling, and use in salads. Additionally, the potato is rich in protein, amino acids, and vitamins, enhancing its nutritional value.

The Miroslava variety is characterized by high resistance to major potato diseases, including potato blight, alternaria, common scab, and the impact of golden cyst nematodes. The tubers store well for a long time without losing their market appearance, ensuring stable supplies and ease of use.
