EPIKUR F1 cabbage — a late Dutch hybrid developed by Syngenta Seeds, intended for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage. The vegetation period ranges from 125 to 135 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The plant features a strong root system and vigorous growth, responding well to balanced nutrition, which contributes to stable and high yields even under stress conditions.

EPIKUR cabbage heads have a round shape and a vibrant green, juicy color. The average weight of fruits varies from 2.5 to 4 kg. The internal structure is dense, ensuring excellent taste qualities and suitability for both fresh consumption and pickling. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as fusarium and internal necrosis, as well as pests including thrips. Due to these properties, along with resistance to sudden temperature fluctuations and other stressors, the cabbage maintains its market quality over an extended period.

EPIKUR F1 is suitable for mechanized harvesting, as fruits are resistant to damage and easily withstand transportation. The storage life of heads reaches 7–8 months, making this hybrid advantageous for long-term storage and marketing. The recommended planting density is 35,000–40,000 plants per hectare, and seeds should be sown in spring or autumn to achieve maximum productivity.
