Spring cabbage — Chinese cabbage (Pete-tsai variety) (Brassica chinensis L. — ultra-early maturing variety for early harvest in open and protected ground. First harvest of greens is conducted 20-25 days after emergence. Technical maturity is reached after 35 days. Plant weight reaches 250 g, yield — 2.7 kg/m². Leafy plant, forms a dense, semi-upright rosette up to 35 cm high and 45 cm in diameter. Leaves are entire, sessile, broadly ovate, smooth with slightly wavy edges, hairless, green. Central vein is broad and succulent. Greens contain a high amount of vitamin C — up to 110 mg%, succulent, excellent refreshing taste, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary use. Variety is resistant to premature bolting, relatively resistant to bacterial blight and vascular bacterial blight.
