Tofar F1

Tofar F1 cabbage is a mid-season hybrid of white cabbage, suitable for cultivation in early and late seasons. The vegetation period from transplanting seedlings to technical maturity is 75-85 days. The heads are round, with a dense inner structure and weigh between 1.5 and 4 kg, ensuring high marketability. Head colors are snow-white or green, indicating high quality and consumer appeal. Yield reaches up to 8 kg per square meter, making this hybrid economically viable for cultivation.

For successful cultivation of Tofar F1, it is recommended to use seedlings or direct sowing of seeds into the soil. The optimal temperature for germination is 16-18°C, then it should be reduced by 2-3°C. Seedlings must be hardened off before transplanting into open ground. Recommended planting density — 4-5 plants per square meter or 40-50 thousand plants per hectare for fresh produce and 35-40 thousand plants per hectare for processing. The hybrid requires fertile, loose soils and adequate moisture to form high-quality heads.

Tofar F1 cabbage exhibits high resistance to fusarium and tolerance to thrips damage, reducing the risk of crop losses. Heads do not crack during field storage, facilitating transportation and storage. Harvest storage duration reaches 3-4 months, during which the cabbage retains its flavor and is suitable for fresh consumption as well as processing, including sauerkraut and making cabbage rolls. The hybrid is produced in Switzerland, guaranteeing high-quality seeds and stable yields.
