Red cabbage Roxy F1 is a late hybrid variety developed by Seminis from the Netherlands. This variety is characterized by its late maturity — harvest can be collected 120-135 days after transplanting seedlings into open ground. Heads have oval or round shapes, colored in a deep purple hue with a bluish tint, caused by a waxy coating on the leaves. Head weight ranges from 2 to 3.5 kilograms, making it popular in fresh markets and convenient for transportation due to the dense leaf structure.

Roxy F1 is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and low temperatures, which contributes to a stable and high yield when optimal planting density — 35-40 thousand plants per hectare — is maintained. The inner leaves of the cabbage are thin and tender, tightly packed, ensuring the preservation of the product’s appearance during transport and long-term storage. The hybrid seeds are small, with 280 to 350 seeds per gram, which facilitates sowing and planning of plantings.
