Swingma

Swingma F1 cabbage is a medium-maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by the seed brand Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands. The maturation period is 70-85 days from transplanting seedlings, allowing harvest during the late summer to autumn season. The plant exhibits high resistance to diseases, particularly fusarium, as well as to stressful growing conditions, making the hybrid adaptable and low-maintenance. Swingma is suitable for both direct sowing in open ground and cultivation through seedlings, demonstrating consistent productivity and uniform head formation.

The cabbage heads are round, weighing from 1.5 to 3 kg, with an attractive deep green color and a strong waxy coating, ensuring excellent marketability and storage quality. Leaves are dense, tightly attached to the stem, crisp and juicy, with high sugar content, giving the cabbage outstanding flavor. Thanks to these qualities, the harvest is ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting.

Swingma features early head formation, extending the product’s harvest window. Recommended planting density is 25-40 thousand plants per hectare, which promotes high and uniform yields. The hybrid is resistant to water stress and high solar intensity, actively increasing head mass even under adverse conditions.
