Sinfonia is a mid-late hybrid of white cabbage, characterized by a period from seedling transplanting to harvest of 120-130 days. The plant forms an elevated rosette of large green leaves with a waxy coating of medium intensity, which have a blistered structure and a slightly wavy edge. Heads are round, dense, with excellent internal structure of a whitish hue, weighing about 4 kg. The outer and inner stalks have medium length, which facilitates processing and processing.
Cabbage Sinfonia prefers fertile, well-permeable soils with a neutral reaction, as plants are susceptible to clubroot on acidic soils. This is a moisture- and light-loving plant, requiring much light and abundant watering for optimal growth. Due to its nature as a long-day plant, development processes accelerate with an increase in the light period. The hybrid is resistant to fusarium wilt and head cracking, which increases its reliability in various climatic conditions.
The variety is universal in use: suitable for both fresh consumption and pickling. The yield of Sinfonia varies from 21.4 to 50.0 tons per hectare. Sowing seeds is recommended from mid-March, and seedling transplanting — in early May, followed by harvest at the end of September — beginning of October. For long-term storage until spring, this variety requires special conditions, so without them it is not recommended to store it for a long time.
