The Sedek Selection: Consistency in Every Head

The 'Nevestka' cabbage variety is a prime example of the rigorous breeding standards maintained by Sedek. Developed by a team of experts including A.N. Lukyanenko and S.V. Dubinin, this variety was specifically engineered to meet the demands of the modern fresh market, where efficiency and consumer-friendly sizes are paramount.

Key Agronomic Characteristics

The standout feature of 'Nevestka' is its consistent size and structural integrity. The plant develops a dense, rounded head that typically weighs between 1.0 and 1.5 kg. This specific weight range is considered optimal for retail, as it caters to household demand for single-use, fresh produce.

• Category: Leafy cabbage.
• Appearance: Dense green head with a classic, rounded shape.
• Primary Use: Fresh market sales.

Beyond its physical appeal, 'Nevestka' is valued for its uniformity. Farmers benefit from this trait as it minimizes the need for rigorous culling during harvesting, leading to a higher yield of saleable product.

Why Growers Choose 'Nevestka'

Backed by Sedek as the patent holder, 'Nevestka' offers reliability that many generic varieties lack. The genetic stability ensures that each crop meets the expected standards for quality and maturity. Whether you are managing a small home garden or supplying a local market, 'Nevestka' provides a predictable and rewarding outcome. The texture of the leaves is delicate, making it a culinary favorite for fresh salads and traditional recipes, solidifying its place in the market as a staple choice for quality-focused producers.
