SPHERE

Sphera cabbage is a mid-season hybrid with dense round heads of medium size, weighing from 1.5 to 2.5 kg. The outer leaves have a dark green color with a whitish tint on the cut, possess medium bubbleiness and curved edges. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and resistance to head cracking, making it particularly attractive for cultivation.

Sphera is valued for its excellent taste qualities and versatility of application. Cabbage is used fresh for preparing salads and cold appetizers, as well as an ingredient for first and second courses. Moreover, it serves as an excellent filling for pies, croissants, and pancakes, which expands its culinary possibilities.

To obtain an early yield, it is recommended to grow it via seedlings with sowing seeds in February-March and transplanting seedlings to open or protected ground in April. The optimal planting scheme is 50 x 30 cm, and to preserve whiteness and density of heads, shading is applied by snapping or tying leaves over forming heads. Such an approach ensures a stable and quality yield of Sphera cabbage.
