CHICKEN MILK

Broccoli of the 'Chicken Milk' variety is a mid-early or mid-season variety with a maturity period of 72 to 120 days, depending on growing conditions. This variety is distinguished by high yield — up to 3.7 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to temperature fluctuations, including heat and cold. The heads are round or round-flat, dense and even, partially covered with leaves. Head color varies from white to violet-purple, mass reaches from 1.5 to 2 kg. The variety is valued for its attractive appearance and tender, pleasant taste, making it in demand for both dietary nutrition and commercial cultivation.

Growing 'Chicken Milk' broccoli begins with sowing seedlings in the second half of March. Transplanting is done at the cotyledon stage, and transplanting into open ground is carried out under film in late April — early May, or without film in late May — early June, observing a planting scheme of 35x50 cm. Thanks to its cold hardiness and uniformity, the variety withstands adverse weather conditions well and ensures a stable yield.

In cooking, 'Chicken Milk' broccoli is widely used for preparing various dishes. It is suitable for canning, freezing, stewing, as well as for preparing vegetable stews and dietary vitamin salads. Recommended for long-term storage in the refrigerator, which allows to preserve the freshness and useful properties of the product for a long time.
