Coral — a medium-late decorative cabbage variety suitable for cultivation in open ground, for fresh consumption, for decorating dishes and interiors, and for ornamental gardening. The plant forms a spreading rosette 40–55 cm in diameter and 30–48 cm tall, with gray-green edges and a bright purple center. The leaves are deeply lobed with a medium waxy coating and vivid purple veins. The leaf blade has a smooth texture, slightly wavy edges with medium venation. The petiole is 6–10 cm long. Yield: 6–7.5 kg/m². Vitamin C content — 45.76–49.28 mg%, dry matter — 8.98–9.78%, sugars — 6.8–7.0%. The variety is resistant to bacterial diseases and leaf-feeding pests, and shows good cold tolerance. Recommended for cultivation throughout Russia.
