Description Ancoma F1
Ancoma F1 cabbage is a late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. The vegetation period lasts 120-135 days, allowing harvest in August, September, and October. The plant forms uniform, dense, and compact heads of round or oval shape with a light green hue, weighing 2.5 to 4 kg. Leaves are strong, dense, and have a characteristic waxy coating, which provides additional protection and enhances their market appearance. The inner core is small, while the outer part is robust and elongated, facilitating handling and storage.

This hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cabbage diseases such as Fusarium wilt, clubroot, and powdery mildew, and it tolerates both air and soil drought well. Thanks to its well-developed root system and adaptability, Ancoma F1 is suitable for various climatic conditions, including regions of Ukraine. It is recommended for cultivation both in open fields and under protective coverings — plastic film, agrofiber, or greenhouses, where maximum yield is achieved. The optimal planting density is 25-32 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring high productivity — up to 10-12 kg per square meter.

Ancoma F1 cabbage is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh consumption, pickling, and thermal processing. Due to its dense head structure and resistance to cracking, the hybrid retains its flavor and appearance during long-term storage and transportation, making it popular for both home use and commercial cultivation and market sale.
