VIVAT VERESCHCHAGINA

Iris "Vivat Vereshchagina" – a Japanese medium-height variety reaching about 85 cm in height. The flowers have a characteristic bluish-lilac hue with white edges and a bright yellow signal; in sunlight they show a more pink tone, while in the shade they become lilac. Petals are wide and oval, with dark purple shoulders and a rich purple central vein, making each bud visually expressive.

The plant prefers sunny locations but tolerates dry climates well. Leaves are green, long, of medium width, sometimes with yellow signals that become noticeable upon yellowing. "Vivat Vereshchagina" is distinguished by high heat tolerance and winter hardiness, enduring zones 4–8. Thanks to resistance to diseases and pests, it can be grown in both private gardens and decorative flower beds.

The flowering period lasts from 12 to 15 days, with usually one or two flowers opening simultaneously, though multiple may be present on a single bud. This makes the variety ideal for creating bright accents in landscape design and allows enjoying its beauty for almost the entire season.
