Iris VESTNIK ALTAIA

Aesthetic Appeal Meets Resilience

The 'Vestnik Altaya' iris, developed by FANTSA, stands out among decorative varieties for its exceptional adaptability. While many ornamental plants succumb to soil pathogens, this hybrid demonstrates remarkable stability. Its striking two-toned petals turn any flowerbed into a vibrant focal point, blending elegance with rugged health.

Key Advantages

• Natural Immunity: Genetic resistance to root rot and wheat leaf rust significantly reduces the need for chemical fungicide treatments, making it a sustainable choice for landscaping.
• Ideal Stature: With a height of 70–90 cm, these irises are perfect for both layered landscape compositions and as standalone specimens.
• French Breeding Heritage: The originator, Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere, has infused this variety with refined petal shapes that maintain their form even after heavy rainfall.

As with most tall irises, the main maintenance consideration is soil drainage; despite its resistance to rot, the plant requires well-aerated soil to truly thrive. 'Vestnik Altaya' is an optimal choice for landscape professionals and gardeners seeking a sophisticated aesthetic without the burden of constant care.
