Hippeasturm AKBUZAT is a compact Hippeasturm variety with a flower stalk up to 25 cm tall, bearing 3 to 4 funnel-shaped flowers approximately 13 cm in diameter. The inflorescence measures 13×26 cm and features a white hue with red stripes, revealing a maroon tone at the base. The center of the flower is bright light green, while the perianth segments are wide, long, pointed, and wavy at the edges. The aroma is weak, yet each bud attracts attention with its shape.
The blooming period lasts 28 days, making AKBUZAT an ideal choice for cut flowers: vase life reaches up to 15 days, allowing use as a decorative element in compositions. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and disease and pest resistance, confirmed by its development at the South Ural Botanical Garden-Institute.
For successful cultivation of AKBUZAT, ensure fertile, well-drained soil with a neutral pH. The plant prefers a bright sunny location and moderate watering at the beginning of growth, gradually increasing it as leaves develop.
