TUR Post-emergence systemic herbicide with selective action against annual and perennial weeds on cereal grain crops.
Active ingredient. 2-Ethylhexyl ester of 2,4-D, 850 g/l.
Formulation. Concentrate emulsion. Chemical group. Phenoxycarboxylic acid derivatives.
Compatibility. Compatible with other herbicides used on cereal crops. The preparation can be used in mixture with fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators and liquid fertilizers, except alkaline ones. However, compatibility testing is required in each specific case.
Mode of action. The active ingredient is absorbed by the plant through its aerial parts and roots, penetrating to growth points and inhibiting the process of cell division, which leads to plant death. The preparation acts as a growth inhibitor for weeds.
Spectrum of activity. Most sensitive weeds: Ambrosia arborescens, Artemisia vulgaris, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Chenopodium album, Convolvulus arvensis, Euphorbia esula, Galium aparine, Helianthus annuus, Hordeum vulgare, Ipomoea purpurea, Kochia scoparia, Polygonum aviculare, Polygonum persicaria, Rumex crispus, Silybum marianum, Solanum nigrum, Taraxacum officinale, Trifolium repens, Urtica dioica.
Moderately sensitive weeds: Achillea millefolium, Anthemis arvensis, Cirsium arvense, Dandelion, Euphorbia officinarum, Galium aparine, Geranium robertianum, Hieracium pilosella, Juncus effusus, Lamium album, Lactuca serriola, Leucanthemum vulgare, Lotus corniculatus, Malva neglecta, Matricaria inodora, Mollugo pentaphylla, Myosotis arvensis, Oenothera biennis, Onopordum acanthium, Papaver rhoeas, Plantago major, Polygonum aviculare, Polygonum persicaria, Prunella vulgaris, Ranunculus acris, Rumex crispus, Sida rhombifolia, Solanum nigrum, Stachys officinalis, Taraxacum officinale, Trifolium repens, Urtica dioica.
Target crops: wheat, barley (winter and spring), corn
Recommended dosage of the preparation, l/ha: 0.6 — 0.8
Additional information (INFORMATION SHEETS) about the product — see the "Presentations and Documents" section.
Maximum number of applications — 1. Pre-harvest interval is not established.
Recommended dosage of working solution — 200 — 300 l/ha. The preparation should be applied during active weed growth: at the 3 — 10 leaf stage for annual weeds and at 10 — 15 cm height for perennial weeds. Visible symptoms of herbicidal activity appear within one day after application, while complete weed death is observed within 2 — 3 weeks.
Spraying is not recommended immediately after frost or during expected frost.
Spraying should be conducted at air temperatures from +8 to +25 °C and wind speed not exceeding 3 — 5 m/s.
Toxicity. WHO classification: Class III (low toxicity). Time before personnel can return to treated areas for mechanized work — 3 days, for manual work — 7 days.
• Rapidly penetrates the plant;
• compatible with other herbicides (especially sulfonylureas) on cereal crops and corn;
• used over a wider temperature range compared to other forms of 2,4-D;
• no residual effect on subsequent crops.
