Herbicide based on the highly active ester form of 2,4-D
Packaging: 20 liters and 200 liters
Main features:
Designed for controlling annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in cereal grain crops.
Outperforms all known 2,4-D analogs worldwide in both speed and effectiveness of weed suppression, including difficult-to-control weeds.
Has systemic action: actively penetrates and moves through the plant (including roots), causing damage to growth points.
Exhibits high selectivity towards cereal crops; no crop rotation restrictions.
Formulation and active ingredient:
Emulsifiable concentrate containing 500 g/l 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid 2-ethylhexyl ester
Mode of action:
The 2-ethylhexyl ester, like all phenoxy compounds with 2,4-D acid as the active ingredient, acts as an auxin-like growth inhibitor. The activity of this ester form of 2,4-D is several times higher than in amine salts, primarily due to faster penetration and stronger effect on sensitive species.
Spectrum of activity:
Highly sensitive weeds (>95%): all cruciferous weeds, shepherd's purse, white mustard, broad-leaved dock, ragweed, Teophrastrum, blue vervain, common mullein, wild poppy, and others, as well as self-seeded sunflower and rapeseed.
Sensitive weeds (>80%): pink clover, yellow clover, field bindweed, Tatarian honeysuckle. "Factor" is more effective against them than 2,4-D in amine form.
Fast and reliable action:
Outperforms other known herbicides in speed of action
Highly effective even under adverse environmental conditions, such as low temperatures and prolonged low relative humidity, as well as drought.
"Factor" begins to act already at 5°C, whereas all 2,4-D amine-based products require 8-10°C.
Due to rapid penetration of the ester into the plant, the product does not wash off during rain within one hour after application.
Ease of use:
Low volatility due to absolute chemical purity of the ester (99.8%).
Due to low volatility, the product is suitable for aerial application.
Compatible in tank mixtures with other broadleaf herbicides, grass herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, and fertilizers.
Does not freeze or crystallize during storage at low temperatures (down to -20°C).
Rapidly degrades in soil, not causing problems for subsequent crops in crop rotation.
Due to low application rate, it ensures high cost-effectiveness.
