Fakter herbicide, produced by Changzhou Winta Von Chemical Co., Ltd., is a highly effective solution for controlling broad-leaved weeds in cereal crops and corn. The product is based on 2,4-D in the form of 2-ethylhexyl ester, one of the most active derivatives of phenoxyacetic acid. The use of the ester form is critical for field practice: it possesses high lipophilicity, which allows the active ingredient to rapidly penetrate the leaf cuticle, which is usually resistant to water-based solutions.

Systemic Activity: Why It Works

Fakter is a systemic, selective herbicide. Once absorbed by the target plant tissues, 2,4-D is translocated via the phloem and xylem to the growth points, causing a disruption in the plant's hormonal balance (an auxin-like effect). This leads to uncontrolled cell division, deformation of stems and leaves, ultimately resulting in the death of the weed.
