Two-component post-emergence herbicide for effective control of annual and perennial grassy and broadleaf weeds in corn crops
Effective control of troublesome weeds: couch grass, sow thistle, knotweed, ragweed, common horsetail, etc.
Rapid herbicidal action;
Ideal solution for zero-till and minimum tillage technologies.
Active ingredients: rimsulfuron — 32.5 g/kg, dicamba — 609 g/kg;
Base unit
0.384 kg.
Formulation: water-soluble granules;
Packaging: plastic jar 384 g, for 1 ha.
Mode of action
Exceptional efficacy of Task ® is achieved through the synergistic effect of two active ingredients. Rimsulfuron and dicamba exert outstanding systemic action and rapidly penetrate into plants.
Rimsulfuron is mainly absorbed by leaves and moves to weed growth points. The herbicide stops cell division at stem and root growth points, thereby halting weed growth within several hours after application.
Dicamba is absorbed by leaves and root system and has the ability to move in all directions: from roots to growth points, and through above-ground parts — to root hairs. Visible signs of Task ® action (bleaching, necrosis) can be observed on the 3rd to 7th day after application depending on weather conditions. Herbicidal activity is enhanced in warm and humid weather after application, whereas cold and dry conditions may slow down the herbicide’s effect.
Extraordinary efficacy against “problematic” weeds
TASK controls all grassy weeds, especially couch grass, goosegrass, common hogweed, mouseweed, as well as persistent broadleaf species: field maple, pink sow thistle, sticky chickweed, shepherd’s purse, ragweed, etc.
TASK is ideally suited for “zero tillage” technology, since in this case weed infestation changes — it becomes more diverse, weeds are at a more advanced stage and require use of combination products containing multiple active ingredients from different classes.
