The «Barel» herbicide is formulated with dicamba, a derivative of benzoic acid. It acts as a systemic, auxin-like herbicide that penetrates the plant through both foliage and roots, disrupting photosynthesis and cell division within the weed's meristem. Due to its selective nature, it effectively suppresses broad-leaved weeds without harming cereal crops such as wheat, barley, oats, and corn.

Technical Application Features

• Systemic and Selective Control: The herbicide moves rapidly through the phloem and xylem, ensuring the complete eradication of even deep-rooted perennial weeds like Canadian thistle and field bindweed.
• Application Flexibility: «Barel» serves as both a foliar and soil-applied herbicide. Foliar application provides quick knockdown of existing weeds, while its soil-residual activity offers prolonged protection against subsequent flushes of weeds like common lambsquarters, pigweed, and field mustard.
• Formulation: As a water-soluble concentrate, the product is easy to mix and provides excellent adhesion to leaf surfaces. With a dosage rate of up to 0.5 L/ha, it offers stable performance across various growth stages of cereal crops.

Field Performance

The use of «Barel» is ideal for post-emergence weed management. A single seasonal application effectively clears fields of the most persistent competitors, including wild radish, field pennycress, and spreading orache. Adherence to the prescribed regulatory period (a 1-day waiting period) makes this herbicide a reliable tool for professional crop protection, minimizing the risk of phytotoxicity when used at the correct dosage.
