"Targa Super" is a systemic herbicide. It accumulates in the tissues of both above-ground and underground parts of weeds (rhizomes, underground shoots). The preparation disrupts fatty acid synthesis, resulting in plant death. "Targa Super" destroys both leaves and roots of weeds, preventing their regrowth; the preparation rapidly degrades in soil (half-life — 7 days), thus posing no danger to subsequent crops in crop rotation.
"Targa Super" can be used in mixtures with insecticides, fungicides, as well as with other modern post-emergence herbicides against broadleaf weeds. In tank mixtures, the preparation combines well with post-emergence herbicides "Torero", k.s., "Contact Twin", k.e., "Goltix 700", k.s.; adding mineral oil (1.0-1.5 L/ha) increases the speed and efficacy of "Targa Super" action. In this case, the dose of the preparation can be reduced by 10-15%; mechanical treatment can be performed no earlier than 5 days after application of the preparation.
Formulation: concentrate emulsion.
Active ingredient: quizalofop-P-ethyl (50 g/L).
Minimal phytotoxic effect on crops; rapidly absorbed by weed leaf surfaces; rain falling more than one hour after application does not affect the efficacy of the preparation.
"Targa Super" has proven its effectiveness and safety for a wide range of crops: sugar beet, soybean, rapeseed, potato, apple, pear, carrot, cabbage, onion, garlic, pea, lupin, alfalfa, watermelon, melon, cucumber, hemp, tomato, pepper, eggplant, cotton, tobacco, spinach, celery, lettuce, currant, strawberry, raspberry, radish, clover, sunflower, grape, ornamental and medicinal plants.
The maximum effect of the preparation is observed during the period when weeds are in the active growth stage, under warm weather and adequate soil moisture. Under these conditions, "Targa Super" should be applied at the minimum recommended doses.
First signs of weed damage appear within the first two days after application; due to its prolonged period of action, it can be used over a wide range of crop and weed developmental stages; prevents regrowth of perennial weed species.
When applied in low doses (0.8-1.0 L/ha), the preparation is highly effective against fallow weeds of previous cereal crops.
Characterized by low toxicity, safe for human and animal health.
Easily degrades in soil and water, does not adversely affect subsequent cereal crops grown on treated areas.
"Targa Super", k.e. is used at the following rates:
annual grasses — 1.0-1.75 L/ha;
perennial grasses — 2.0-2.5 L/ha.
The optimal period for applying "Targa Super" is the 3-6 leaf stage of weeds (10-15 cm for plantain).
