Description Nabob
Post-emergence herbicide against many broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D and MCPA, in soybean, pea, and corn crops.
Application frequency:

Single application is permitted.

Active ingredient:

bensulfuron-methyl, 480 g/l.

Formulation:

water-soluble concentrate.

Active ingredient characteristics:

bensulfuron-methyl belongs to the thiadiazine derivatives class.

Herbicidal activity spectrum:

effective against many broadleaf weed species.

Highly sensitive (85 — 100 % mortality): field forget-me-not, common burdock, bindweed, pale dock, kidney dock, purslane (species), wild radish, field buttercup, arrowleaf (species), field sorrel, field mustard, common starwort, field chickweed, darnel (species), marshmallow, monochoria, Theophrastus knotgrass, prostrate knotweed, chamomile (species), field horsetail, yellow mustard, common chickweed, wild cabbage, umbrella plant, shepherd’s purse, blue vervain, sow thistle (species), common nightshade, sunflower (species), trifoliate orange, sticky cinquefoil, daisy (species).

Moderately sensitive (60 — 84 % mortality): ragweed (species), white clover, commelinaceae (species), field bindweed, medicinal camomile, small-flowered galinsoga, tuberous sedge (species), common yarrow.

Weakly sensitive (up to 59 % mortality): field dock, common ragwort, purple deadnettle, self-seeding poppy, veronica (species), bird’s-foot trefoil.

Mode of action:

penetrates weeds primarily through green tissues, has contact action.

Speed of action:

visible weed suppression symptoms depending on weather conditions appear within 1 — 7 days after application, complete weed death occurs approximately 10 — 14 days later.

Protective period:

the product provides protection for crops from the moment of application until the emergence of new weed growth.

Application specifics:

application should be carried out under favorable growing conditions (from plus 10 to plus 25 °C). Cool weather slows visible effects. Most sensitive crops (pea) are recommended to be sprayed under cloudy conditions and at temperatures below 20 °C (e.g., late evening or early morning). Crop variety sensitivity must be considered. Application is not recommended if nighttime frosts are expected.

Phytotoxicity, crop tolerance:

absent when application guidelines are followed. Application is not recommended on crops experiencing stress due to adverse weather or other conditions.

Potential for resistance development:

no cases of resistance to the product have been identified.
