"Bastion w.s.c." is based on bentazone, an active ingredient from the benzothiadiazinone class. The herbicidal effect is achieved by blocking photosynthesis through the inhibition of electron transport in photosystem II. As a contact-action herbicide, it penetrates the weed foliage rapidly, ensuring reliable results even in fluctuating weather conditions.

Technological Features

Developed by Zhengjiang Agrin Company Ltd., this product is formulated as a water-soluble concentrate. This allows for the immediate creation of a stable, homogeneous tank mix, preventing sedimentation in sprayers. Its high degree of selectivity makes it an ideal tool for post-emergence weed control, effectively eliminating broad-leaved weeds without harming the crop.

Target Weeds and Application

The product provides superior technical efficacy against the following weed species:

• Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), white goosefoot (Chenopodium album), and redroot pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus).
• Field mustard, shepherd's purse, common chickweed, cleavers, and common fumitory.

The herbicide is recommended for use on soybeans, peas, winter wheat, and corn. As a post-emergence insurance herbicide, it enables growers to adjust their weed management strategy after crop emergence. Classified as a Hazard Class 3 product, it offers efficient performance while maintaining safety standards for the environment and subsequent crop rotation.
