Pre-emergence selective herbicide for use on soybean, corn, sunflower, bean, potato and vegetable crops.
Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Active ingredient: pendimethalin, 330 g/l.
Packaging: drum, 10 L.
Mode of action:
The product is absorbed by the primary roots and seedlings of weeds and inhibits cell division and growth in them. Weeds die immediately after seed germination or after emergence. Saga also acts on already emerged plants, provided that during treatment the developmental phase of grassy weeds is 1 — emergence of the second leaf, and for broadleaf weeds — up to two true leaves.
Hazard class: 3. Toxic to fish.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture, in sealed factory packaging.
Storage temperature: from 0°С to +30°С.
Advantages of application:
kills a wide spectrum of annual broadleaf and grassy weeds;
remains active for 8-10 weeks after application;
easy to use;
non-phytotoxic;
no need for incorporation after application, as it does not evaporate from the soil surface;
creates favorable conditions for crop plant development from the start of vegetation.
Application specifics:
Herbicide can be applied before or after crop sowing, up to emergence of seedlings;
recommended for use on soybean, corn, sunflower, bean crops, as well as on vegetable crops: tomatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, garlic;
kills weeds at germination stage and does not affect mature weeds, so mechanical soil preparation is required before application;
do not spray when wind speed exceeds 2 m/s, to avoid drift onto adjacent areas with sensitive crops or areas with shallow water table;
application rate varies depending on soil type — higher rates are recommended for heavy clay soils;
recommended working solution application rate — from 200 to 400 L/ha.
