ADVANTAGES
• Excellent control of a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds.
• Long application period.
• Excellent selectivity.
• Low rate of application (30 g/ha).
MECHANISM OF ACTION
The herbicide is absorbed by weeds and transported to the growth points, negatively affecting the enzyme system of sensitive plants. CONTROLLER blocks the acetolactate synthase enzyme, which is responsible for the synthesis of essential amino acids involved in protein synthesis. As a result, cell division slows down rapidly in susceptible plants, stopping their growth.
PROPERTIES
Most weeds are best destroyed during the cotyledon to 2-leaf stage. Field mustard and sunflower volunteer plants are sensitive to the drug up to the 6-leaf stage.
Spectrum of action on weeds:
Highly susceptible (over 95%) — Persian speedwell, creeping woodsorrel, field mustard, knotted hedge nettle, common chickweed, deadnettle (species), common groundsel, corn buttercup, false flax, sun spurge, field forget-me-not, sticky catchfly, black nightshade, ordinary sowthistle, wild radish, yellow reseda, chamomile (species), field pansy, bent goosefoot, rapeseed and sunflower volunteers.
Susceptible weeds (85-95%) — Theophrastus' abutilon, toothwort, annual woodruff, proso millet, thistle (seedlings), common wormwood parsley.
Moderately susceptible (70-85%) — hairy ragweed, field mouse-tail barley grass, wild poppy, common orache, field violet.
Resistant (50-70%) — field dodder, ivy-leaved speedwell, birch-like bird's foot trefoil, middle starwort, white goosefoot, water pepper (species), pink thistle, medicinal gromwell, annual chickweed, cutleaf groundsel.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
CONTROLLER is safe for all types of beets at any stage of growth (do not apply before emergence!) provided that the beets are not under stress. The optimal temperature for spraying is +15...+25°С during and several hours after application. If the temperature is higher than 25°С or lower than 10°С within 3-5 hours after application, the rate of metabolism decreases. This can lead to temporary yellowing of the beet leaves. These symptoms disappear within 10 days without affecting further crop development, yield and sugar content. Avoid using the drug during heat, drought, frost, strong winds and other adverse weather conditions.
Speed of action: 5-10 days after treatment.
CONTROLLER is compatible with most preparations, however, before preparing a tank mixture, it is necessary to conduct a test mixing (except for organophosphorus insecticides). The tank mixture should be used immediately after preparation.
Apply CONTROLLER with the addition of Alfalip sticker.
