Purpose of the preparation: Highly effective systemic herbicide for controlling annual and perennial grassy and broadleaf weeds in corn and potato crops. Formulation: Water-soluble granules. Active ingredient: rimsulfuron, 250 g/kg. Packaging: 1 kg foil bag (20 packets of 50 g each); 500 g foil bag (10 packets of 50 g)
SYSTEMIC HERBICIDE FOR CONTROL OF ANNUAL AND PERENNIAL GRASSY AND BROADLEAF WEEDS
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: rimsulfuron, 250 g/kg
FORMULATION: water-soluble granules
PACKAGING: 1 kg foil bag (20 packets of 50 g);
500g foil bag (10 packets of 50 g)
ADVANTAGES OF THE PREPARATION:
• Control of a wide spectrum of weeds
• Application possible up to the 7-leaf stage of corn
• Low application rate
• Alternative to soil-applied herbicides
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Selective systemic herbicide, whose active ingredient — rimsulfuron — is absorbed by leaves and roots of weeds,
rapidly translocated, and accumulates in meristematic zones. The herbicide's action involves inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase and acetohydroxyacid synthase, leading to the blocking of synthesis of essential amino acids valine and isoleucine. This results in cessation of cell division and disruption of cell differentiation at growth points of the plant. Growth and development of weeds stop within several hours after application. Within a few days after application, visual effects of the herbicide can be observed as pigmentation of growth points and cessation of weed growth and development. Complete mortality
occurs within 2–3 weeks, depending on weather and climatic conditions.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF USING THE PREPARATION CRUISER, W.G.:
How to properly prepare a tank mix of the preparation Cruiser, W.G. with other products?
When using tank mixes of the herbicide Cruiser, W.G. with other herbicides, first prepare a stock solution of the required amount of herbicide, which is added to the sprayer tank filled with 1/3 water while the mixing system is on, then add other products, and finally PAR.
Is there a risk of weed resistance developing to this preparation?
When using the herbicide Cruiser, W.G. according to recommendations, resistance is absent. To prevent the development of resistance in weeds within the same field, it is necessary to alternate this herbicide with herbicides having a different mode of action or to use tank mixes of Cruiser, W.G. with herbicides of other chemical groups.
What is the residual protective effect of this preparation?
Cruiser, W.G. has herbicidal activity against broadleaf and grassy weeds for up to 30 days.
How do weather conditions affect the efficacy of the herbicide Cruiser, W.G.?
Warm and humid weather enhances the herbicide's activity, whereas prolonged dry periods and relatively low air temperatures reduce its activity. Rain occurring 3 hours after application of Cruiser, W.G. does not diminish its efficacy, as the herbicide has already fully penetrated the plant by then.
Attention! Herbicide Cruiser, W.G. should be applied with the addition of a surfactant (for example, PAR «FLOX», at a rate of 100 ml per 100 liters of working solution)
CLASSIFICATION OF HAZARD, TOXICITY:
III class of hazard (low toxicity), moderately hazardous to warm-blooded animals, safe for bees, birds, fish.
STORAGE DURATION:
3 years from the date of manufacture under storage conditions.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: from -10°C to +35°C
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE OF USING TANK MIXES:
• Cruiser, W.G. (40 g/ha) + Dikam Plus, EC (1.0–1.2 L/ha)
• Cruiser, W.G. (40–50 g/ha) + Futurin, W.G. (0.15 kg/ha)
• Cruiser, W.G. (40–50 g/ha) + Ultra Plus, EC (0.5–0.6 L/ha)
