Latest post-emergence herbicide with selective action based on pinoxaden for protecting wheat and barley from grass weeds
Intended use:
AXIAL 045 EC, a.i. (5 L) — selective post-emergence herbicide for controlling grass weeds in cereal grain crops. Application guidelines: use the product strictly in accordance with the provided recommendations.
Compatibility with other pesticides:
To broaden the spectrum of action against broadleaf weeds, AXIAL 045 EC can be used in tank mixtures with herbicides based on triasulfuron (Logran 75 WG, Linthur 70 WG), dicamba (Banvel 4S 480 SL), and florasulam. AXIAL 045 EC is also compatible with most fungicides and insecticides applied to cereal crops at the same time. However, chemical compatibility of mixed components must be checked in each case. When preparing tank mixtures, avoid direct mixing of products without dilution in water.
Duration of protective effect: 1.5–2 months.
Speed of action:
AXIAL 045 EC, due to adjuvants in its formulation, rapidly penetrates the plant through leaves and stems, then evenly redistributes within the plant via upward and downward transport of substances. Weed growth is halted within 48 hours after application. Visible symptoms of weed damage appear within 1–2 weeks after treatment, complete death occurs within 3–5 weeks depending on weed species and growing conditions.
Application technology:
Before starting protective treatments, check the cleanliness of the tank, main pipelines, and sprayers, as well as the overall functionality of the sprayer. Then determine the amount and uniformity of water delivery through the sprayers and compare with calculated data for working solution consumption per hectare. Spraying is performed during morning or evening hours in calm weather, avoiding drift of the product onto neighboring crops. Proper leaf surface coverage with the working solution is extremely important for achieving high efficiency. Apply the maximum recommended dose of AXIAL 045 EC when weed infestation is high or for overgrown weeds, when working in tank mixtures, or under unfavorable conditions for crop and weed growth.
Optimal herbicide application timing: in the "2–3 leaf" stage — "start of stem elongation" for oats and in the "2–3 leaf" stage (up to tillering) for other grass weeds. Application of AXIAL 045 EC on crop plants is safe throughout the entire vegetation period. For optimal results, adjust the sprayer to fine or medium spray. The volume of working solution should be sufficient to uniformly cover all leaf surfaces of the protected crop and weeds. Rain beginning 30–60 minutes after treatment does not affect herbicide efficacy. After finishing work with AXIAL 045 EC, thoroughly rinse the sprayer and spraying equipment.
Preparation of working solution: fill half the sprayer tank with clean water, start the mixer, add the calculated and measured amount of the product, and continue filling the sprayer tank with water while mixing. Continue mixing during application to ensure uniformity of the working mixture. The working solution can be used for 24 hours after preparation. When using AXIAL 045 EC in mixtures with other pesticides, follow this dissolution order in the sprayer tank: *SP > VG > SC > AXIAL, KE (* if the component is in water-soluble packaging, dissolve this product first in the sprayer tank). Each subsequent component is added only after complete dissolution of the previous one. Bring the water level in the sprayer tank to the required volume. The working solution must be used on the day of preparation.
Phytotoxicity:
AXIAL 045 EC exhibits high selectivity towards crop plants. It can be applied to all registered crops without restrictions based on growth stage. Possibility of resistance development: None, provided that the manufacturer’s recommendations are strictly followed.
Storage of the product: Store the product in special pesticide storage facilities at temperatures from -5°C to +35°C in unopened factory packaging.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
