The flowers are large, about 16 cm in diameter, with ruffled notches and folds along the petal edges, giving them a distinctive decorative appearance. The flower color is salmon-orange with large lemon-yellow spots on the three lower petals, enhanced by a dark raspberry bloom along the veins and a distinct streak nearly to the edge of the spot. The plant features double flowers with a mild fragrance and upright stems. The leaves are simple and green. Gladiolus 'Debut' prefers sunny locations and light soils, such as sandy or loamy, with any pH level. Watering is moderate, but this variety requires ample sunlight and well-drained soil, which should be considered during cultivation. The plant's frost tolerance corresponds to zone 10, allowing it to be grown in regions with temperatures down to -1°C.
