Post-emergence systemic herbicide for weed control in corn crops.
Formulation: concentrate suspension
Active ingredient:nicosulfuron, 40 g/l
Packaging: can, 5 L.
Mode of action:
The active ingredients of the herbicide rapidly penetrate into plants through leaves and stems and quickly move to growth points, where they inhibit enzyme activity. As a result, synthesis of valine and isoleucine amino acids is disrupted, leading to cessation of cell division and plant growth. Within a week, weeds turn reddish and gradually die completely.
Hazard class: 3.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture, in sealed factory packaging.
Storage temperature: from 0°C to +35°C in a specialized room.
Advantages of use:
kills a wide spectrum of annual and perennial grassy and broadleaf weeds;
has a wide application window — from the 3-leaf to 10-leaf stage of corn development;
easy to prepare working solution, no surfactant required;
eliminates the need for mechanical inter-row cultivation of corn;
due to its short half-life, it has no residual effect on subsequent crops in crop rotation.
Application notes:
Optimal temperature for herbicide application: from +15°C to +25°C;
working solution dosage should not exceed 2 L/ha when the recommended application rate is 1–1.25 L/ha, as this concentration ensures effective weed control;
do not apply the product on fields within 14 days before or after treatment with organophosphorus insecticides;
do not treat crops if corn plants are severely damaged by disease, pests, or drought and heat stress;
do not treat crops if they are wet from dew or rain;
cultivation should not be performed until at least 7 days after herbicide application;
if necessary, to enhance herbicide efficacy, the product may be used in tank mixtures with herbicides based on sulfonylureas and dicamba;
the product is incompatible in tank mixtures with herbicides based on pyridate, bentazon, 2,4-D, and organophosphorus insecticides.
