Helichrysum "Golden Dome" – a decorative shrub with bright yellow, slightly cream-colored inflorescences and velvety light-green leaves with a golden tint. The plant is characterized by flexible branched stems that can freely droop downwards or, when supported, grow upwards, creating an impressive form.
The shrub reaches a height of 70 cm, while the central stem length can reach up to 30 cm. Up to 29 inflorescences can bloom on one bush, providing a prolonged and rich flowering from June to August (approximately 2.5 months). The flowers are small, tightly grouped, and have a yellowish, beige, or cream hue. The plant has almost no distinct aroma.
Helichrysum "Golden Dome" is easy to grow in sunny and drained areas, preferring moderately moist soil. It is not demanding in care: regular but moderate watering is required; fertilization with complex fertilizers before transplanting improves growth. During the cold season, the plant should be placed in a well-lit room as it does not tolerate sub-zero temperatures. Due to its resistance to pests and unfavorable weather conditions, this variety is suitable for landscape design: flowerbeds, alpine gardens, lawns, borders, and also as a dried flower in bouquets.
