Maximizing Yields with «Nastenka» Chamomile

The «Nastenka» chamomile variety, developed by the VILAR Institute (All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants), represents a specialized selection for commercial agricultural production. Designed with pharmaceutical industry requirements in mind, it offers a consistent phytochemical profile and reliable performance in the field.

Field Application and Operational Benefits

• Mechanized Harvesting: The morphological uniformity of the "Nastenka" variety allows farmers to optimize harvest equipment settings, reducing petal loss and ensuring higher quality of the final dry product.
• Quality Control: Given its high content of essential oils and active flavonoids, this variety is highly sought after by producers supplying the pharmaceutical and cosmetic markets.
• Crop Management: As a controlled variety, it simplifies cultivation protocols compared to wild-harvested analogs, providing a more predictable production cycle.

For agricultural enterprises focusing on medicinal crops, the key value of the VILAR "Nastenka" variety lies in its commercial viability. Its adaptability to standardized cultivation practices makes it a strategic asset for farms looking to maximize yield per hectare while maintaining strict quality standards required by industrial processors.
