Helichrysum bracteatum (Ghelischrysum bracteatum) – a decorative annual plant of the Asteraceae family that grows quickly and reaches a height of 40 to 100 cm depending on the variety. Leaves are green with a slight sheen, stems are upright and branched, and inflorescences are large, resembling scales, with a varied color palette: from white and yellow to pink, red, burgundy, and purple. Flowers are usually collected in baskets at the ends of shoots and can reach a diameter of 5–7 cm.

The «Swiss Giant flowered mixture» variety is distinguished by particularly large inflorescences and a long flowering period – from July to September. It retains its shape and brightness even after drying, which makes it popular for creating dried bouquets and compositions. The plant prefers sunny, warm places, light, fertile soil with good drainage. Watering is moderate but regular; if necessary, it can be fed with complex mineral fertilizers every 2–3 weeks during flowering.

Helichrysum is widely used in landscape design: for decorating flower beds, borders, rabatok, and as a decorative cut flower. It is also suitable for growing in open ground or in greenhouses; when planting in open ground, it is recommended to do pricking out 2 weeks after seedlings and place plants 15–20 cm apart. Due to its resistance to many pests and diseases, as well as the absence of fruits, this variety remains purely decorative and requires minimal care.
