Pomegranate Black Sea

Granate "Black Sea" is a variety distinguished by high yield and resilience to adverse climatic conditions. It can withstand temperatures down to -18 °C without protection, making it suitable for open-ground cultivation even in regions with harsh winters.

The fruits weigh 250–280 g and have a thick rind. Inside, they contain numerous sweet seeds of a dark-burgundy color, while the taste retains a slight tartness, creating a harmonious blend of sweet and sour notes. Due to these characteristics, "Black Sea" is popular among gardeners wishing to obtain a bountiful harvest with a good flavor balance.

The variety adapts easily to different growing conditions: it grows both in open ground and in household settings. The trees reach heights from 1.2 to 2 m, have a slightly flat rounded crown, a dark-gray trunk, and straight thin branches. The leaves are small, which facilitates care for the plant. Thanks to high yield – up to 199 c/ha – "Black Sea" is a profitable choice for both private gardeners and commercial plantations.
