CHAMOMILLA

CHAMOMILLA – an annual medicinal plant with an erect and highly branched stem, 30–60 cm tall. Leaves, 2–5 cm long, are twice-pinnatifid into narrow thread-like lobes, arranged alternately and sessile.

Flowers are gathered in heads on long peduncles located at the ends of shoots. The vegetative period is short – 60–70 days. Above-ground biomass is harvested during mass flowering; for preparation, chamomile is mowed, dried, and stored in a well-ventilated room.

Yield ranges from 0.5 to 0.7 kg/m² in open ground under direct sunlight. Planting scheme – 10×30 cm. Seeds comply with international standards and GOST RF 12260‑81, and do not contain genetically modified organisms.

Chamomile infusion has anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, antiseptic, analgesic, diaphoretic, and choleretic effects. Plant color – white/yellow.
