Endive "Elvira" is an early-maturing variety specifically developed for cultivation in garden and vegetable plots. The leaves of this endive have a semi-vertical rosette about 17 cm high and approximately 43 cm in diameter, making them convenient for harvesting and subsequent culinary use.
The medium-sized leaf is distinguished by its bright green color, dissected surface, and weakly wavy texture. The leaf edges are slightly serrated, while the center of the rosette has a wide-elliptical shape with a green hue. The central vein at the base of the leaf is of medium width and colored white, giving the plant a characteristic appearance.
The "Elvira" variety is characterized by high yield – up to 3.7 kg/km², while the mass of a single marketable plant is about 190 g. The leaves are rich in vitamins A and K, making them a valuable ingredient for healthy eating. Thanks to early maturity and compact growth, this endive is easily cultivated in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable harvest in vegetable gardens.
