SPRING LACEWORK is a variety of endive (Cichorium endivia L.) intended for growing in open ground all year round, especially well showing itself in spring, summer and autumn. The plant has a compact, dense head of bright red color, which gives the dishes a rich visual effect. Leaves are large, juicy and not prone to premature narrowing even in hot weather, making this variety resistant to unfavorable climatic conditions.
The variety is characterized by high yield and medium degree of maturity: sowing is usually carried out during IV–VI months, and harvesting – in VI–IX. The planned interval between planting and harvest is several weeks, which allows you to receive fresh leaves regularly. Planting area recommended 10–15 × 20–40 cm, providing sufficient space for root system development and optimal growth.
SPRING LACEWORK is easy to grow in garden plots due to its resistance to «wrong» powdery mildew. This makes it an ideal choice both for experienced farmers and home gardeners who want to get high-quality endive without complicated care.
