Early-maturing variety, developed at the VNIIS named after I.V. Michurin by crossing the varieties Ojebin and Black Pearl. Breeders: T.S. Zvyagina, T.V. Zhidkhina. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Central Chernozem region in 2004.
Medium-height, moderately spreading bush. Woody stems are medium-sized and thick, straight and curved, grayish in color, with a yellowish blush on the sunny side, brownish-yellow tips with a golden hue. Buds are medium-sized, egg-shaped, solitary, light brown, sessile, slightly pressed against the stem, leaf scar shape is rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, medium-sized, green, slightly shiny, dense, smooth, blade positioned obliquely upward, margin uplifted. Lobes are pointed, central lobe larger than lateral ones, sometimes with additional projections. Lateral lobes are widely spaced, angle between their midveins is straight. Basal lobes are well-developed. Leaf base is irregularly heart-shaped with a central notch. Teeth are small, doubly serrated, with clearly defined white "tips", petiole medium in length and thickness, pigmented with anthocyanin.
Flowers are medium-sized, cup-shaped, sepals reddish, free, curved in a bow-like manner. Inflorescences are medium-sized (4.5–6.2 cm), cylindrical, medium density, straight, central axis straight, with a short petiole.
Berries are medium to large (1.5–1.8 g), round, non-uniform, black, with slight gloss, few seeds, tart-sweet flavor (4.6 points), universal use. Receptacle is round, medium-sized, closed, peduncle medium-sized, straight.
Chemical composition: dry matter — 18.9%, total sugars — 10.7%, titratable
acidity — 2.6%, ascorbic acid — 139.0 mg/100 g, P-active compounds — 791.0 mg/100 g, pectin substances — 2.6%.
Cold-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile, resistant to powdery mildew and leaf spot diseases, suitable for mechanized cultivation, average yield 13.6 t/ha (4.1 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: disease resistance, productivity, early bearing.
Disadvantages of the variety: under severe water deficiency, berry mass decreases; insufficient resistance to bud mite.
