METRENG

Cucumber METRENG F1 is a parthenocarpic hybrid intended for light cultivation and industrial growing in greenhouses. Plants of this variety are strong-growing, with a robust root system and female flowering type, ensuring good fruit set throughout the entire vegetation period. Average fruit length is 18–20 cm, sometimes reaching 22 cm, cylindrical in shape, dark green in color with a smooth surface and thin skin. Fruit weight is about 220 g, making this variety medium-sized and convenient for packaging and fresh market sales.

One of the key advantages of METRENG F1 is its high resistance to a range of diseases, including downy mildew, cucumber vein yellowing virus, olive spot, leaf target spot, as well as CVYV, Ccu, CLS and CGMMV viruses. This tolerance significantly reduces the risk of crop losses and minimizes the need for chemical plant protection. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is widely used in commercial vegetable production and is characterized by stable high yields.

Fruits of cucumber METRENG F1 have a distinct cucumber flavor, low seed content, and good market qualities. They are well preserved and transportable, making this variety attractive for both domestic and international markets.
