Cucumber Profi F1

Stable Yields in Any Conditions

The «Profi F1» cucumber from the Dutch breeding company Nunhems is a choice for professional farmers who prioritize predictable results. This hybrid belongs to the parthenocarpic type, eliminating dependence on pollinators. This makes it an ideal solution for both closed glass greenhouses and open field cultivation.

Key Features and Cultivation

The main advantage of this hybrid is its robust immunity. Developed by Yost van den Eiden, the plant is resistant to a wide range of threats, including powdery mildew, viral mosaics, and downy mildew. The vegetative growth habit ensures vigorous development, allowing the plant to recover quickly from environmental stress.

• Early Maturity: the first fruits are ready for harvest just 45–50 days after emergence.
• Marketable Quality: the fruits feature a distinct, coarse-warted structure and a rich dark green color.
• Size Range: the length of the fruit ranges from 10 to 15 cm, which is the gold standard for both fresh market sales and pickling.

Why Choose Profi F1?

Unlike more sensitive varieties, «Profi F1» is forgiving of minor agronomic errors. Its greatest strength is its adaptability. It can be used in glass greenhouses for extra-early yields or planted in open fields to ensure a steady supply throughout the main season. This hybrid is optimal for commercial operations focused on the fresh market, where visual appeal and disease resistance are key to profitability.
