Cucumber NEW YEAR SURPRISE

NEW YEAR SURPRISE — this is a bee-pollinated cucumber hybrid intended for cultivation in protected ground. The plant is characterized by high resistance to low light conditions, allowing successful cultivation even under limited light. The period from germination to fruiting begins at 50-55 days, ensuring a relatively quick harvest. The zucchini have a cylindrical shape, 18-20 cm long and weighing 180-200 g, with large but sparsely distributed bumps and white spines.

The fruits are distinguished by high juiciness and aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption. The plant forms 1-2 fruits per node, and up to 4 on lateral shoots, contributing to good yield. Due to its characteristics, the hybrid is suitable not only for greenhouse cultivation but also for home conditions with limited substrate volume.

For home cultivation, pots of at least 5 liters capacity are recommended, and manual pollination should be performed, as natural pollination may be difficult. During winter, the plant requires additional supplemental lighting to maintain normal growth and fruiting. NEW YEAR SURPRISE will be an excellent choice for those who wish to obtain aromatic and juicy cucumbers year-round.
