Mid-early hybrid cucumber of female flowering type 'Beit Alpha', mini type with smooth fruits. Relatively early maturing. High overall yield. Strong, healthy plant with vigorous vines and intermediate resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases. Fruits are cylindrical, very uniform, 13–15 cm long (length/width ratio 3.9–4.1), excellent in quality and taste. Have thin, smooth skin with small spines and glossy green color. Highly productive variety. Even higher yield of marketable product can be achieved when grown on trellises. Resistant to downy mildew (US-race), powdery mildew (intermediate resistance), cucumber mosaic virus (high tolerance; not firmly resistant), watermelon mosaic virus, and common pumpkin yellow mosaic virus.
Mainly intended for cultivation in open ground, but can also be grown on trellises. Suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
